RAM
Read/write memory: Dout always shows the value at address A; with WE=1, a rising CLK edge writes Din into address A.
Pins
A (address), Din (8-bit data), WE (write enable) and CLK on the left; Dout (8 bits) on the right.
How to use it
Store data that changes while a circuit runs. Right-click → “Edit contents” to view or change memory directly.
Usage example
Address A, data to write Din, write enable WE and the clock go on the left. With WE = 1 a rising edge writes Din to address A; Dout always reads address A.
Common mistakes
A, Din and Dout are buses: the address width must match the RAM setting and Din must be 8 bits (build it with a Joiner). Nothing is written while WE=0, and writes wait for CLK to go 0→1.
