ROM
Read-only memory: outputs the 8-bit value stored at address A.
Pins
Address A (n bits) on the left; 8-bit data output D on the right.
How to use it
Right-click → “Edit contents” to fill it in; good for lookup tables, fonts and tiny programs. Use + / − to set the address width (2ⁿ entries).
Usage example
Put an address on the left and a display on the right to read what's stored at that address (address 2 holds 2 here). You can edit the ROM's contents.
Common mistakes
Address A must match the incoming bus width; data out is always 8 bits, so use an 8-bit splitter or display.
